Today's struggle is finishing the back of a workshop quilt I started in a Kaffe Fassett class. I need to make the backing....but since I don't feel like its MY QUILT...I am having a problem putting the time in it...It's a fun quilt and I like the colors....it just doesn't feel like somthing I designed. I would rather be working on a totally new piece and creating something interesting. If I continue down this path, there could be an ugly accumulation of UFO's in my closet....

I am not surprised you haven't made more time for your blog because I know how busy you are making wonderful quilts. Your Leaf Ladies were beautifully designed and constructed, and the story of their job to dress the leaves at night before spring was inspired! Keep sewing, and blog when the spirit moves.

I know what you mean about workshop quilts not feeling like "your" work. I have so many UFOs that I can tell at a glance came from a class with so-and-so.
