Burgundy Hills

This little quilt was created to meet the challenge #43 of the Fast Friday Quilters online group. The challenge was to make a quilt using "manipulated" fabric in some new way. This was a new concept and technique for me. I am happy with the sense of depth it provides as the hills moving away. I worked really hard on the puffed up oak trees and think they add a new diminsion to the quilt. The "shadows" are cast by fine semi-tranparent netting.

Ooh, I really like that, Donna.

You really added a lot of depth since the "first draft" I saw! Still, my favorite element is the fencing. Great job!
